Applesauce Weather was a good book. When the first apple falls Faith waits for her Uncle Arthur to come. Her brother Peter thinks she is crazy because how would Uncle Arthur know when the first apple will fall. When Uncle Arthur comes Faith runs up and hugs him. Even without Aunt Lucy was not there it was a good visit.
AppleSauce weather was about a girl Faith Her brother Peter Her auncle Arthur and a little bit about her Aunt Lucy. It started off with faith waiting for auncle Arthur. Waiting and Faith waited all day and her parents kept on saying he probably not coming this year. So faith was a little sad. At night Faith was waiting under her apple tree on the bench and she kept on waiting then he showed up!!! As soon as three got in they had pie. But then a little later on they started wondering about his auncle Arthurs finger. And they asked him and he told them a story and said it was him and Lucy and Lucy was baking pie and she told Arthur not to touch it but he did. And then Lucy got mad and she took a knife and he said she cute it off!!! But Faith and Peter knew that was not the truth. So then they asked again and they said the real story. So ancle Arthur said him and Lucy were on a date and they were on a boat and Lucys hat blew off And a alligator got it so he went after the alligator and the alligator bit his finger off!!! But that was a lie too. So then the last story uncle Arthur told was he was sitting and he herd Peddler Joe so he ran over and Peddler pole out a pocket knife and said to Authur and said if you can find my finger I will give you this. So ancle Arthur was looking for it ge said and he didn’t find it so he went back to Peddler Joe and said I could not find your finger. So Peddler Joe pulled out the pocket knife and gave it to me. Then I put it under my pillow and I woke up and my finger was gone.
This book is about when the first apple falls from the apple tree, the children faith and peter know its almost applesauce weather and uncle Arthur should be here by now. When he does arrive they realize that one of his fingers are missing.
The book is good my favriote charcter is faith. Why faith is my favorite because she waited for her ucle when the first apple fell. And her ucle came this is amazing story.
My favorite part is when the uncle tells about He lost his finger. He lost his finger when he got his knife. He was told to put his knife under his pillow the night before his birthday. When he woke up his finger was gone.
This book’s main character is a girl name Faith and her uncle Arthur.When the first apple falls Faith waits for her uncle for a while.Even without Lucy her uncle comes.When the uncle comes her tells a lot of stories.The uncle also gives Peter his knife he had for sixty years.
I really liked this book. The main charecters were uncle Arthur, faith, and peter. This book was about uncle aurther coming over. The kids begged for uncle aurther to tell them hoe he lost his finger. His lost his finger by trying to get a hat back and in the prosses of trying to get the hat back his finger got bit of by a crocodile. One other main charecter in the story was peddler joe.
